Networking Workshop at SONOS

The focus will be on NETWORKING. Unlike other “networking” opportunities, this is not an event where folks are drinking beer/wine and talking to their friends. This event is organized to share knowledge, teach skills, and connect STEM professionals in a variety of fields and industries.

Speakers will provide insight to their unique professional development experiences, so don’t miss this opportunity to get input from local STEM professionals in Santa Barbara.

Speakers are followed by a fun, low-stress, facilitated networking activity where you’ll learn effective skills to network with anyone in any situation. These are essential skills to master in a fast paced world where candidate resumes are screened in less than 30 seconds!! As the saying goes, it’s all about who you know... right?

After this activity, you’ll know how to connect in a meaningful way with a stranger in any situation and simultaneously build your network. LogicMonitor’s mission is to simplify technology management for humankind.

How do we do that? We’ve done this by creating an IT infrastructure performance monitoring tool that deploys fast, monitors more, and improves operational performance. This means we provide hosted monitoring for the entire technology stack — storage, servers, networks, applications, virtualization, and cloud — in a single, unified solution. We believe our clients should monitor anything and everything that plays a role in the overall uptime and performance of their business infrastructures.

Since 2007, our team has helped a wide range of clients make sure that they’re able meet their business demands by effectively managing their infrastructure performance. Since then we have grown to just over 250 employees worldwide with offices in Santa Barbara, Austin, New York, Boston, London, Chengdu, and Singapore. We believe that our employees are our greatest asset and we want to help them grow.
