This event is focused on Physics and you will hear from people from all different areas of the physics world. Soft matter theory, biophysics, astrophysics, integrated photonics, and more! Expert or newbie, come learn about different research, companies, beloved hobbies, and industry trends!

ABOUT UWIP
The Undergraduate Women in Physics club is a group of students at UC Santa Barbara that are dedicated to bettering the physics community by strengthening the collective “physics identity” with an emphasis on supporting women and gender minorities, who are traditionally excluded from this identity; working towards classroom equity for those students with(in) the physics department.
